Posted by: thepinetree on 09/30/2009 05:22 PM
San Andreas, CA...As a continuation of Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital’s ongoing strategy to provide the best available health care, construction began September 27, 2009 in preparation for the installation of a new digital mammography system on the hospital campus in San Andreas. The 3-phase construction project is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2010. Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 09/28/2009 02:58 PM
With schools opening their doors for a new year the concern has crossed my mind on how the youth today are faced with health issues. Obesity is up in the US significantly with the younger generation. Research has suggests that obesity and superobesity in today’s youth is up 36% and 98% over the past 20 years. The average child in America gets less then 15 minutes of vigorous exercise a day and less then 43 min of moderate exercise a day. And 30% of youth(10-19) have negative attitudes towards physical education. The decline in health and the increase in obesity is very concerning. When we see this....
