Dear Community Member,

We are very pleased to present our 2nd annual full-page picture of what we have accomplished in the past fiscal year. We were once again amazed by the volume and quality of these activities!

Providing the best health care available is our mission, so we established a goal that our patients will want to return for their future health care needs, and they would recommend us to family and friends. This goal starts with our employees, so we invested successfully in recruitment, retention, and development. They truly live their lives on purpose!We remind ourselves daily about patient care and safety and our focus has seen positive results in Patient Satisfaction, Medication Safety, Surgical Infection Prevention and Core Measures. "Body Language" Coming to Arnold November 1st.

Arnold, CA...We will be doing more on this but due to the large number of people who are concerned at the closing of Klines, we wanted to let our viewers know that there is a new health club coming to Arnold on November 1st. "Body Language" will be the home of Satori Jazz Dance, Aerobics, Kung Fu, Kickboxing and more. This should be welcome news for many who were looking at a void in the fitness options.....

Calaveras Public Health Announces 5th Novel H1N1 Case...50 year old Mokeulumne Hill Resident

San Andreas, CA...A fifth case of the new or novel H1N1 influenza has been reported by the Calaveras County Public Health Department. A 50 year old resident of Mokelumne Hill was hospitalized in Sacramento in late August with flu and was discharged in early September. Laboratory testing results received on September 18, 2009 were consistent with the H1N1 flu virus according to County health officials. The resident recovered after the hospital stay...

3rd Annual Teddy Bear Clinic Planned at Mark Twain St. Josephs Hospital!

Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital in San Andreas will be hosting the “3rd Annual Teddy Bear Clinic” on the mornings of October 19, 20 and 21. Approximately 450 kindergartners, their teachers and parent chaperones will have the opportunity to tour most areas of the hospital in order to learn about the hospital departments, all while gaining a comfort level within the hospital setting......



Kindergartner's, Brayden and Nicholas of CFLC checkin' each other's vitals at the 1st Annual Teddy Bear Clinic along with Two future nurses chatting over lunch! We have over 80 photos in our "1st Annual MarkTwain St. Josephs Hospital Teddy Bear Clinic" Photo Album...
