San Andreas, CA...A1 has been Serving Calaveras county, central California valley and surrounding areas since 2007. They offer full service repair and sales of tractors, mowers, weedeaters, trimmers, chainsaws, logsplitters, generators and rototillers. In addition they provide sharpening service for chainsaws, mower blades and circular saw blades. They re-located to a new, larger building at 660 E. St. Charles St, San Andreas, CA which allows for off street parking and a larger showroom.

Angels Camp, CA…(Frogtown, USA)..Participating in the Saddle Queen Scholarship Competition this year was Kyndal Castle, Macy Liotta, Savannah Stinnett, Madison Wolfman and Delaney Grace. The young women competed for several scholarships as well as special awards. The competition was directed by McKensey and Tammy Middleton. The competition was sponsored by Gold Electric.

San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras County Master Gardeners’ Demonstration Garden will be open on Saturday, April 27 from 10AM – 1PM. Plant sale 10AM -12 ~ Rain or Shine. The Demonstration Garden is located at the County Government Center, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas. Happy Soil = Happy Garden! The foundation of all gardening lies in the soil. We can enhance the fertility of our soil and improve the soil structure by employing simple techniques. We will discuss these techniques along with methods to evaluate soil types.

Jim & Nancy Conway have opened JC Power Equipment in AVery. The power couple have been married since Nov, 11 1990. They have two children James and Andrea and two Granddaughters Athena and Arabella. History in power equipment. 1982/83 1983/84 high school junior and senior yr's, Attended CCOC ( central county occupational center) Vocational school. During my jr yr, I was asked to compete against other vocational programs in our area in a CA state sponsored program. The instructor informed me that I was the first, first year student to be asked to compete.
