Stunning Gold Country Estate ~ Featured Property From Cedar Creek Realty

Posted by: thepinetree on 08/03/2014 02:51 PM
Murphys, CA...An opportunity to get away without going very far… This tasteful country estate on 42 acres of fertile ranch land in the historic Gold Rush country is just three miles from Murphys, California, the Carmel of the Sierra and less than a three hour scenic drive from the Bay area. Most recently a breeding farm for Quarter horses, the lush property spreads across an idyllic valley along the San Domingo Creek, bordering BLM land, with views that take your breath away. The elegant main home is 4100 square feet of classical farmhouse architecture, completed in 2007, with exquisite attention to fine detail and custom finishes, wrapped with a veranda overlooking the creek — the only sound one hears in the evening. A vintage cattle barn sits at the top of the pasture and is still in use. A former blacksmith shop has been remodeled into the ideal ranch workshop with a stunning ‘man cave’ in the old dry stack rock-walled root cellar. Fenced with extensive pasture, abundant spring water (no pumping necessary) and impressive landscaping integrated by a master gardener, the ranch is known as the most picturesque property in the area. All infrastructure, including the luxury home, has been built in the last 10 years, sparing no expense. An additional contiguous 86 acres is offered separately with water and power already established for an additional two households, just the right proximity yet privacy for a family compound or guest retreat. Please visit www.goldcountryranchforsale to view a photo gallery and video....
