Brenda Lea (Bullard) Jennings 1956-2013

Arnold, CA...Brenda Lea (Bullard) Jennings, 57, of Arnold, passed away on Monday, December 30th, 2013. She was born on March 20, 1956 in Alameda, CA to Allen and Lorna (Wangerin) Bullard. Brenda grew up in Arnold. She attended Hazel Fischer Elementary School and graduated Valedictorian of Bret Harte High School in 1974. After high school she attended Columbia College and graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities. She became a real estate broker and co-owner of Allen Bullard Reality which became Century 21 that still exists in Arnold today. In 1986 she sold her share in Century 21 to become a homemaker and manage the family business...

Bret Harte Angels To Hold Monthly $1,000 Raffle Drawing January 3rd

Angels Camp, CA...Bret Harte Angels, Inc. will hold its seventh drawing of the monthly sports raffle prize of $1,000 at the half time of the Bret Harte varsity boys’ basketball game on Friday, January 3, 2014 at the high school. Drawings began in July and will continue monthly through June, 2014. Sandy Gary and Sheila Hegel were the first winners in July, followed by Jen Joses/August, Clayton Rasmussen/September, Debbie Ponte/October, Kyle Rasmussen/November and Tad Folendorf/December. There are multiple opportunities to win the drawing during the yearlong program. The monthly drawings are held throughout Calaveras County. You do not need to be present to win, and winning tickets are returned to the drawing each month for another chance at the prize...
