Angels Camp, CA...."Committee members and community volunteers have been working diligently for the past months to make the sixth annual Relay for Life an event to remember. This year's Relay will be held at Bret Harte High School on April 26-27 from 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. Everyone is invited to participate in the event. Informational booths on various cancers will be available on site, as well as day-long entertainment, fun, food and games. For those who would like to .....

| Blue Lake Springs, CA.....A part time Blue Lake Springs resident, was getting ready to take a shower last night, and was faced with a little surprise....a bat had taken up residence in the shower curtain. He went to corral the critter to move outdoors, but with his lacking skills in bat-catching, he tried to capture it in a ever so popular Trader Joe's bag. Well, he was unsuccessful....instead he was bitten on the hand..... |

San Andreas, CA...In this meeting The Calaveas County Board of Supervisors, The Angels Camp City Council, The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce and more participated in a study session looking at the economic picture in the county. This meeting was informational and a great start in the dialogue to bring new ideas and efforts to improving the economic health and vitality of our local economy....

Arnold, CA...This storm was not forecast to really give us much in the way of precipitation. In Arnold however there has been steady rain for most of the night. The snow levels with this storm will start high and drop down to under 3,000ft by tomorrow night. The latest radar snapshot is below and the National Weather Service Weather Update is enclosed...
