Happy Memorial Day Weekend, SNAC'ers! We hope you have some hiking or paddling planned for this weekend and that we'll be seeing you. We just transformed our Arnold Kayak & Canoe Showroom and our Summer Rental Department is up & running! Yes, this weekend you can take a Stand Up Paddle Board out on the lake and try a new sport! (White Pines and Melones have been nice lately). Arnold goes Garage Sale this weekend, so stop by and see what bargains we have too. Half price on any remaining winter gear and some sweet finds from Spring on our sale rack too!

Arnold, CA.....The Arnold Friends of the Library will hold a book sale and raffle Memorial Day weekend May 28 and May 29 at the Arnold Library Books and raffle tickets will be on sale from 9:00am to 4:00pm each day. A large quantity of paper back books will be available for fifty cents apiece. Hard backs are one dollar. Raffle tickets are one dollar each or six for five dollars. Raffle selections include a Season Pass at Bear Valley, a Cord of Firewood, A discount at Black Bear Inn, A Spa Package from local vendors including massage and pedicure, a Souvenir Basket of quality goods from Hawaii, a custom made redwood plant stand with plants, and many other quality products.....

Dear Arnold Rim Trail Aficionados, After a very long winter with lots of snow, we are pleased to announce three Arnold Rim Trail events to celebrate National Trails Days on Saturday, June 4th, with something for everyone! Activity One: Volunteer Trail Building Day from 8:30 am to noon. This time we'll gather at the Sierra Nevada Logging Museum, not the USFS Station in Hathaway like we have in the past... see details below!...

Arnold, CA.....The Friends of the Arnold Library are holding a Book Sale on Memorial Day Weekend, May 28th~29th. They will also be holding a raffle at 4:00pm on Sunday May 29th, winners need not be present. Tickets are $1 or 6 for $5 and will be on sale both Saturday and Sunday. Dick Watson has asked GABA members to please donate prizes for the raffle…anything would be greatly appreciated. You can drop off your donation at the Library at 1065 Blagen Road.
