Valley Springs, CA....The Valley Springs Arts & Music Festival will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at The Terrace, Hyw 26 in Valley Springs. The gates will open at 2:00 for food, arts, crafts & informational vendors. The Concert begins at 3:00 and runs til 9:00. The Valley Springs Music Festival will bring together performers from Calaveras and Northern California. ....

Valley Springs, CA...On May 17th Stage 3 of the Amgen Tour which runs from - Auburn to Modesto will have Calaveras County become the center of the cycling world for about an hour. Hundreds of the best cyclists in the world will come charging down Comanche Parkway then proceed down Burson Road and fly down Milton Road on their way to Oakdale.....

Valley Springs, CA...At the request of Rancho Calaveras residents Bob and Char Stanton in early January of 2011, I was asked to look into the actions by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in preparation for a meeting with FEMA representative Kathleen Schaefer and others on January 26th at the County offices and to represent the Stanton’s in that meeting. My investigation of the facts surrounding the Stantons’ example and others in the County revealed what appears to be a massive fraud on the part of FEMA, not just on Calaveras residents, but on potentially millions across the U.S...

Valley Springs, CA.....Wife, mother and foster mother, Linda Louise Krigbaum of Burson passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Mark Twain Hospital after succumbing to injuries incurred from an automobile accident. She was 48. A native of Fremont, California, Mrs. Krigbaum was born December 8, 1962, and was the youngest daughter of Marian and Jerry Collett. In 1986, she married Richard Krigbaum with both her son and his son in attendance. They grew their family, and by 1994 they had two more sons. While in Fremont, Mrs. Krigbaum was a home daycare provider and was passionate about special needs children. In 2002, the family moved to Burson......
