Valley Springs, CA....On Thursday, April 14th, Scott's Yogurt Factory is having a fundraiser and silent auction, to help the Krigbaum family. We'd like to encourage our community to come down and help support the Krigbaum family through these tough times. Scott's Yogurt Factory will donate 25% of all sales for any item in the store to the family from 5-9 pm. Come on down and join us for dinner and/or a treat for desert as we stand together as a community to support each other....
Calaveras County, CA....Stitchers for Hope is having a Bake Sale on Saturday April 23rd in front of Mar Val's in Valley Springs - 9:00 till we run out of goodies - usually noonish!! Cakes, cupcakes, candy for your Easter Holiday. Relay for life will be held at Calaveras High School on April 30th and May 1st of 2011.

Valley Springs, CA....Valley Springs Arts and Music is bringing some of the greatest bands from around California to Calaveras County. Jazz festivals, Concerts, Art Exhibits and much more. All to raise money for our schools music and sports programs. The Valley Springs Music Festival will take place on May 28th, 2011 from 2pm to 9pm at the Terrace in Valley Springs. All ticket sales, vendor booth fees, sponsorship fees or donations are tax deductible. The Valley Springs Community Music Association invites you to join us as a sponsor or booth vendor for our Second Annual "Valley Springs Music Festival". This event is a celebration of great music, food, wine, crafts and art, in an effort to support local youth programs.....

Tickets are on sale now @ The Valley Springs News, 1906 Vista Del Lago, the churches, Showtime Video, 200 E. Hwy. 12 and at Gallery Calaveras, 22 Main St., San Andreas. Tickets and donations can be made out to Valley Springs Empty Bowls. 100% of donations and tickets sales benefit the two Valley Springs Food Banks held at Good Samaritan Church and Methodist Church....
