Posted by: John_Hamilton on 03/21/2012 07:08 PM
Jenny Lind, CA...CHP was reporting a red westbound car on Hwy 26 was hit by an anchor that was "deployed" from a white SUV going the other way near Jenny Lind Road. It is still unclear if the SUV was towing a boat. I would hope so and this was just an errant anchor. Not often we get to mention anchors in traffic updates..and yes it was a non-injury accident or we wouldn't joke...

From thieves going from car to car looking for unlocked doors in the Valley Springs area to men walking into a home in Blue Lake Springs in the middle of the afternoon, to potential home invasion style residential burglaries near Angels Camp where suspects entered homes while the residents were sleeping in bold and brazen robberies....

Posted by: John_Hamilton on 03/16/2012 01:16 PM
Burson, CA...Bankruptcy judges have given the Nemees until May to present their civil case against the county. That Judge Sargis allowed the case to go forward was helped that a couple of witnesses had yet to be served. On a related issue we are hearing that the bank may have to re notice the sales. Short of that however Golf still continues on the troubled course on the west side of the county....
