Our events have been so successful we have decided to open the event to the entire community. Come out for fun, holiday spirit, dinner and dancing. San Andreas, CA...After decades of need the new Adult Detention Facility is officially underway. The Calaveras Board of Supervisors and the Sheriff's Office thanked the Citizens who voted to support Measure J and the State of California for the AB900 funds which are making the new Jail a reality. The voters passed the bond measure in 2007 with 67.2% percent of the vote....

Valley Springs, CA...Thanksgiving Day many families showed up bright and early in the cold morning at the Valley Springs Youth Center to raise money for the Food Bank by running in the second annual Turkey Trot sponsored by the Valley Springs Optimist Club. “We received almost $1200.00 and some canned food from the Turkey Trot this year. Carol Crosby did a great job organizing the event and we are thankful that the Valley Springs Optimist Club again sponsored the event. The Valley Springs Youth Center served hot ......
