Murphys, CA.....IRISH DAY will take place thisSaturday, March 19th from 10am - 5pm. One of the premiere annual events in the Mother Lode is Murphys Irish Day. Each year thousands of people from Northern California and beyond gather in the historic gold rush town of Murphys to honor its Celtic heritage and to celebrate as only the Irish can. Be sure to visit the CWA Wine Booth - wine and commemorative wine glasses available!

Murphys, CA....Save the Date - Murphys Irish Day will be on Saturday March 19th - Join us for our annual celebration of all things Irish featuring a parade, vendor booths and free entertainment on the street from 8-5. Raffle tickets are available around town ... just look for the posters and purchase your raffle tickets to win a trip to Ireland. Or call Deana at 209-362-2289 to volunteer, we still need quite a few folks to help out. Marisolio Tasting Bar joins Creative Cookware in offering Shop Local Discounts - On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, local customers will receive discounts on purchases from these Murphys .....

Thanks so much for your continued support of ThePineTree.net! Every Friday, Alchemy features jazz standards by Matt Cullen on our patio from 5:30-8 pm. Matt will play with an "enhanced rhythm" section and will sometimes be joined by guests. The music is free; all we ask is that you call 728-0700 for reservations and that you eat some dinner. Feel free to dance if the mood strikes you. Murphys, CA....In celebration of Dr. Suess and all of his incredible books, a Read Across America extravaganza took place on the campus of Michelson Elementary School in Murphys. Students were greeted first thing in the morning by a special tandem reading of Green Eggs and Ham by school Librarian Melissa Francis who read the story in English and then 2nd grade teacher Suzanne Mattson echoed it in Italian. BRAVO! What a treat!! Speaking of treats, Melanie Klann made "green eggs" and ham for everyone, which was .....

Bear Valley, CA...Another system will roll through our area bringing snow and rain to the area. The snow levels from this system are 6,000ft and above so the lower elevations should escape the road snarling white stuff. The latest National Weather Service forecast and storm warning is enclosed...
