Calaveras County, CA...EMA Floodplain Administrator: Peter N Maurer, Planning Director, 891 Mountain Ranch Rd., San Andreas, CA 95249. The Calaveras County Planning Department hereby gives notice of the intent to revise the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA’s) flood hazard determinations in Calaveras County and incorporated areas.
The High Flow Conditions In Murphys Creek Will Continue

Murphys, CA...There is a high flow condition in Murphys Creek below the Murphys Afterbay. There is approximately 125 CFS immediately below the afterbay and the flow increases downstream as small tributaries converge with the creek. Flows will likely continue to increase as the rain continues. There is no dam failure and no immediate emergency, but people should stay a safe distance from the creek and residents along the creek should monitor the creek level in relation to their homes.
San Andreas, CA...The San Antonio Creek was at flood stage today after a powerful storm over the weekend. This creek is one of the main tributaries of the Calaveras River, which flows into New Hogan Reservoir near Valley Springs. Since January 1, Hogan's water level has risen by more than 30,000 acre feet. CCWD uses water released from Hogan to serve more than 10,000 customers in the greater Valley Springs area.

We have completed this report and briefed President Obama as well as President-elect Trump and Congressional leadership. We declassified a version of this report for the public, consistent with our commitment to transparency while still protecting classified sources and methods.
