Angels Camp, CA...Bret Harte High School continues the tradition of celebrating academic excellence and all things PI by once again holding a "pi day" competition on March 14th. Students are challenged to write pi out to as many decimal places as possible. Last year the winner did over 500 places....

Water Conditions: New Melones Lake is currently holding 1,967,207 acre-feet of water. The lake level has been steady for the last three months. It is currently at 1049 ft. above sea level and 39 ft. from full. The water temperature is quickly rising and is 52-55 degrees and crystal clear....
Congratulations to Bob James of Murphys. He caught a big 12-pound catfish and has earned a GLORY HOLE SPORTS BIG CATFISH OF THE WEEK title. Nice catch, Bob!
