Angels Camp, CA....Scotts Yogurt Factory features their newest addition starting today! Our Soup, Salad and Baked Potato bar. About 40 items on the Salad bar including, Chicken, Blue and Feta cheeses, Fresh Veggies, Iceberg, Romaine, Spinach, Bacon, Jean's Famous Blue Cheese dressing, Oriental, Caesar, Balsamic Vinaigrette,Ranch, Thousand Island plus much more OPENING DAY SOUPS- Clam chowder, Chicken Tortilla, Broccoli Cheese BAKED POTATO'S- with Choices like- Cheddar or Nacho Cheese, Ground Beef, Chili, Bacon, whipped butter, Salsa, Sour Cream, Green onions.Prices will be by the ounce, Baked Potato's .25 an ounce, Soup .35 an ounce and Salad .45 an ounce....Along with our 8 flavors of yogurt, 80 toppings, sauces and more...What more could you ask for! Angels Camp, CA....You are invited to a Harvest Party Library Fundraiser on Saturday, October 23rd 1-5pm. Come tour 6 beautiful Angels Camp homes (5 in Greenhorn and 1 in Angel Oaks) decorated for autumn and enjoy wine, hors ‘d’oeuvres and other refreshments. Talented local artists and crafters will have their work for sale at each home. There will be a quilt raffle and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $25 and are available at the Angels Camp Library, Calaveras Visitors Center in AC and Calaveras Lumber. For more information contact Betty Sawyer at 736-6723 or Susan Durant at 736-9606.

Angels Camp, CA...Dove Hill Ranch performed it's magic as a wonderful backdrop for the Annual Taste of Calaveras event this last Saturday. There was food, music, wine, art and more in the dozens of booths that were arrayed on the beautiful grounds. This is the signature event for the Angels Camp Business Association and proceeds benefited the Calaveras County Arts Council as well. The event was a showcase of life in Calaveras County...

Enjoy quilts made by Greenhorn Creek Quilters. Discover handcrafted items by local artisans. Lunch will be available at CAMPS. There will also be a Raffle Drawing. Angels Camp, CA...In keeping with the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum Day events on Saturday, September 25th, the Angels Camp Museum, 753 South Main Street, Angels Camp, will admit two persons for the price of one, with children admitted free. Recent changes at the Museum include the installation of the Mark Twain Exhibit, Hogarth Five-Stamp Gold Mill, the Paul Raggio Fountain, and the beginnings of the Geology and Mining exhibits. In addition, the Carriage House exhibits over 30 pieces of historic rolling stock, as well as other related artifacts. ....
