| Vallecito, CA...On Oakdale couple sustained moderate and major injuries yesterday in an accident on Hwy 4 at Ponderrosa Road that initially came in as a head on collision. From the CHP release..A 17 year old Mi Wuk Village resicent was driving his 1995 Chevrolet pickup eastbound on Hwy 4 and was stopped at the intersection with Ponderosa Road preparing to turn left.... |

Angels Camp, CA....Rotary Brew & Brats is a fund raiser to support Rotary programs benefiting the Calaveras County food banks, scholarships for deserving High School students and dictionaries for elementary school kids. Bayou Boys Cajun music will be on tap as well as beers from Snow Shoe Brewery and beer and wine from Oliveto distributing. Senders Market is donating big Bratwurst links to be served with side dishes. Support a local cause and enjoy music, dancing, beer and bratwurst. ....

Angels Camp, CA....You are invited to a Harvest Party Library Fundraiser on Saturday, October 23rd 1-5pm. Come tour 6 beautiful Angels Camp homes (5 in Greenhorn and 1 in Angel Oaks) decorated for autumn and enjoy wine, hors ‘d’oeuvres and other refreshments. Talented local artists and crafters will have their work for sale at each home. There will be a quilt raffle and a 50/50 raffle.
