San Andreas, CA... Mark Twain St. Joseph‟s Hospital (MTSJH) is once again promoting Pink in The Night in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Mark Twain St. Joseph‟s Hospital will be promoting the importance of the fact that early detection of breast cancer, followed by prompt treatment, saves lives. Lots of Critter Activity This Year ~ By John Hamilton

Posted by: John_Hamilton on 09/10/2012 01:00 PM
Avery, CA...In the 7 years ThePineTree.net has been serving up information we can say that this year has had the most Mountain Lion and other wild life activity at lower elevations than we have seen in the past. At a local winery last week there were 6 sheep slaughtered by a mountain lion that they had to kill. The sheep were behind tall deer fencing and this lion had almost no fear of humans and was stashing the killed sheep for later only a few feet from where they normally pass. The local Sheriff's Deputies came face to face with a Lion in a San Andreas Cemetery and another mountain was spotted on one of the holes at Greenhorn Creek. We would like to thank our viewers for sending in the photos below and enclosed...

Posted by: thepinetree on 09/08/2012 10:24 AM
Angels Camp, CA...For those who know me, know that I have very little patience for governmental programs that are designed around a never-ending process that seldom, if ever, produces any results. These water systems are told that they might get funding that will reimburse them for their initial engineering reports and application costs, but only if they are successful in persevering until the end. If they don’t persevere until the end, or if they fail to make the cut, then none of their costs and efforts are covered. This is almost always a cripping financial disaster for these small systems, and therefore, they do everything they can to avoid beomg sucked into this destructive plan...
