Murphys, CA...We thought we should pass along some very sad news. Local mom and longtime fighter against cancer as passed away. We will pass along the obituary and service details as soon as they come in. From all of us at ThePineTree.net our thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family....

Supervisor Tryon is one of the longest serving Supervisors in the State of California. He is running for another term in what he has stated is his Last Campaign. There is unfinished business that he would like to see through until completion. He sees this as vital to our area. This is one of the longest of our candidate interviews. San Andreas, CA...The Assessors Office again hopped away from the field for bragging rights and qualification in the Frog Jump Finals. Tuesday's event had most of the county employees and many of the elected officials our cheering their Department's entries in the Frog Jump. Traditionally it is the last to be hired to have the honor of jumping for their departments and county's honor. We have photos and video of all the fun...
