He was successful and after weeks of keeping it under wraps Mike's results will be known on the Nickelodeon Channel's Figure it out tonight. Water Conditions: New Melones Lake is currently holding 1,813,034 acre-feet of water. The lake level has dropped a little over a foot this week and is currently at 1035 ft. above sea level and 53 ft. from full. Water temperature is in the mid-70's, and will climb with this week's warm weather. Lake is slightly stained, with mud lines forming around the shore on windy days......
Chris Limas, Anthony Limas, and Scott Schelegel caught these 8 big cats, and released 10 more, while soaking crawlers and shad near the spillway. The biggest two were 12-pounds, 12-ounces, and 12-pounds, 10- ounces.
Angels Camp, CA...Phyliss Ann Sola Crawford died June 8, 2012 at her home in Angels Camp. She was 72 years old and a fourth generation resident of Angels Camp. Mrs. Crawford was born July 2, 1939 at Bonnie Baratono’s Maternity Home in Angels Camp. She was the only child of Marjorie and Alfred Sola. She was educated at Copperopolis and Angels Camp Grammar Schools, Bret Harte High School Class of 1957, and Humphreys College in Stockton. She was an aide at Michelson and Mark Twain Elementary Schools, clerk at Altaville Drug Store, and retired from Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital as Director of Marketing and Public Relations....

Angels Camp, CA...Once a year we are treated to something very special at the Angels Camp Museum; Gold Rush Day, when admission is free, food and drink are plentiful, and history comes alive! This Centennial year was no exception as demonstrations of Gold Rush period music, food, military history, and of course prospecting were presented by historian/actor/musician/craftsmen and women in period costume accompanied the ever growing collection on the museum grounds.....
