Angels Camp CA…High school students involved in Ag Mechanics and Industrial Arts will be able to sell their crafts at the 2012 Calaveras County Fair this May. Just like the generations of Calaveras County residents of old, students are learning trades at our local high schools. Students are manufacturing wood furniture and agricultural gates, BBQ barrels, chutes and much more at Calaveras and Bret Harte high schools. ....

Enter the Daily Baking contest at the Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee, May 17-20, 2012. Each day of the Jubilee a different item is featured cookies, cakes, pies and brownies. All baked items must be prepared at home and brought to the fair on the day of the competition. A recipe should accompany all entries....
Angels Camp, CA...The culmination of the 85th Annual Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee is the hard hitting, spectator favorite, Destruction Derby. The Derby is held annually on Sunday evening of the Jubilee. Roaring engines, the sound of metal against metal and a hillside full of fans, create an exciting atmosphere for everyone involved. The event is May 20 beginning at 5:30 p.m. and lasting until the last car is left in the Arena.....
