Calaveras County, CA....Community Bible Study is an interdenominational Bible Study open to men and women 18 years and over. This year we will be studying the Book of Genesis. The study begins on Thursday, September 10, 2009 and meets weekly each Thursday through April 29, 2010. A Bible –centered program is provided for children from birth to 6th grade. The young children learn biblical songs, verses and enjoy crafts. The elementary school age children will also be studying the Book of Genesis.....

Angels Camp, CA...With Fathers Day just a couple of weeks ago, I thought it appropriate to take time and reflect on fathers. Having grown up in a broken home, I understand the importance of the father’s roll in the family and having five children makes me understand how hard it is to be a father in the times we are living. As we look at our society and read the statistics on fathers it becomes evident that there is a problem with many fathers today. I believe that it is time for us who are fathers, to become redeemed fathers...

"Free Summer Events for Teens" are presented by Harmony Life House in Murphys. Free guitar lessons for teens of all skill levels, beginner to advanced, will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. every first and third Friday of the month. Also featured are free movies twice a month starting June 12 with "A Night at The Museum," followed by "Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" (June 26), "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" (July 10), "Wall-E" (July 24) and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (Aug 14)....

Murphys, CA.... "We’d appreciate any assistance in getting the word out. Our women’s ministry wanted to do something that would meet a need and HIS Kitchen came out of that desire. There are no financial guidelines. You don’t need to make a reservation. We just want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to have a good hot meal … with dessert!"

A New Christian Church Joining the Community Tomorrow in Honor of Good Friday |

Angels Camp, CA...We would like to welcome a new church that has joined our community. Refuge is located at 172 S. Main Street in Altaville. They will be celebrating Good Friday tomorrow evening at 7pm. You can also join them for Easter Sunday at 10am and every Sunday at 10am. Lead Pastor is Shawn McCamey. "A Community of Faith Hope and Love. We are a group of people who have been saved by Jesus Christ and desire to follow Him.
