Angels Camp, CA..."Becoming a Christian at eighteen introduced Sherri Youngward to the concept of worship music. "It was so amazing to me, to be sitting with a group of people singing to God. I loved music before, but now I was experiencing why music was created." Sherri's songs are often written like stories, based on real experiences and people in her life. REFUGE presents Hilary Watson on Sunday December 20th at 7pm. Cost is FREE. Born and raised in Riverside, Calif., HILARY WATSON purchased her first guitar – an electric guitar – from a pawnshop at the age of eleven. Fortunately for her family, the electronics didn’t work and she was never able to plug it into a amplifier. All in all, it worked well enough for her to learn her musical alphabet (C through B for you musicians out there).....

Calaveras County, CA....Local Children's Christian Author, Gloria Jean Bodenmuller, spoke on December 2nd at Chapel in the Pines for their Christmas luncheon. Gloria also signed her newest book entitled; "THE CHRISTMAS STAR". A sneak preview and orders were taken for "Our" new book; HEAVEN. God's Little Angels and I will be singing, Silent Night in English and German on the C.D. that comes with THE CHRISTMAS STAR book. "Our dear sweet friend, Lois Conklin will accompany us on the auto harp. On December 5th., we will have a book signing @ Angels Glad Tidings, Christian bookstore in Angels Camp.
