This Week at the Angels Camp CHS Thrift Store Adoption Center – BRAD & ANGIE! |

Angels Camp, CA...Stop by the Calaveras Humane Society's Thrift Store/Cat Adoption Center in Angels Camp, located in Angels Town Center at 240 S. Main St./Hwy 49. Summer hours for the Angels Camp Adoption Center are Thurs/Fri, 10 am–5 pm, and Saturday, 11 am–5pm. This week, in addition to BRAD & ANGIE, we will have several other guest cats from Calaveras County Animal Services who will be available for adoption through CHS. As always, we will also have kitties available at our Arnold Adoption Center, located in Meadowmont Center next to Big Trees Market, open Thurs.-Sat., 10am to 5pm. If it's young kittens you're interested in, the Arnold Adoption Center is the place to go this week. Come in to one or both adoption centers and meet some wonderful felines with varied personalities! If you're a cat lover, you might find one or more that is just right for you.

Angels Camp, CA...The Big Keepsake Ornament Premier event is this weekend. Middleton's Gold Crown Hallmark will be open Sunday 11-4, regular hours Monday thru Saturday 9-5:30. Ornament Premiere does run through the week of July 18. So make plans for Christmas In July at Middleton's Gold Crown Hallmark at 362 North Main Street in Angels Camp. 66th Annual Murphys Homecoming Saturday, July 18th |

Murphys, CA...Everyone is invited to the 66th annual Murphys Homecoming to be held Saturday, July 18, in the cool confines of the town’s historic park. Activities will kick off at 11:30 a.m. with a concert by the Calaveras Community Band, 90 minutes of rousing music ranging from Sousa marches to Broadway show tunes. At noon, the traditional Old Timers Luncheon will be served free of charge to anyone who has attained the age of 70 and has lived in the Murphys, Vallecito, and Douglas Flat area for at least ten years. This popular event is made possible by a generous contribution from the Native Daughters of the Golden West, Ruby Parlor #46. To reserve a place at the table, eligible guests must call Sue Friedman at 728-8183 by July 15.
