FIRE NEWS.... Chimney Fire at 3898 Stagecoach Drive in Copperopolis

Copperoplois, CA....A chimney fire is being reported at 3898 Stagecoach Drive in Copperoplis. Units from Copper and Altaville are responding to the scene. No further information at this time. UPDATE #1 (7:11pm) Copperopolis and Cal Fire units are on scene stating a single family, two story home. Units are not seeing smoke or fire on scene. UPDATE #2 (7:14pm) The fire has been confined to the chimney, additional units have been cancelled. Updates to come if needed.

Firefighter Suffers Minor Injury at the Structure Fire That Occurred on Thursday

Columbia, CA...We have received the official CAL Fire report on the Columbia structure fire which is being officially caused by Arson. The fire occurred at 22265 Parrots Ferry Road in Columbia and caused $40,000 in damages to the structure along with $15,000 in damages to its contents. A firefighter also suffered a laceration to the head and was taken to Sonora Regional with minor injuries. The CAL Fire report is enclosed.....

Fire Restrictions Lifted in High and Moderate Hazard Areas

Sonora, CA…The Forest Service today announced that due to shorter days, cooler weather, and higher humidity, fire restrictions in effect by Forest Order since June 25 are now lifted within the High Hazard and Moderate Hazard Areas of the Stanislaus National Forest (NF). Visitors may now use wood, charcoal, or gas fires or stoves outside of developed campgrounds as long as they possess a valid California Campfire Permit and follow the permit regulations.....

Jamestown, CA....CAL Fire states a juvenile playing with matches was the cause of a 10' x 10' spot fire at 10260 Preston Lane in Jamestown. There were no injuries and no dollar damages reported. CAL Fire report enclosed....

FIRE NEWS.......Vegetation Fire Reported Near 155 Bullion Hill Drive in Valley Springs......CONTAINED

Valley Springs, CA.....A Vegetation Fire is Being Reported Near 155 Bullion Hill Drive in Valley Springs. Many ground units were dispatched and in route to the fire now. UPDATE #1 (7:42pm) With units on scene the fire is reported as a small spot fire with slow rate of spread. No further information at this time. UPDATE #2 (7:45pm) Utility 140 and engine 4451 knocked down the fire quickly and were able to contain the fire. No structures or damage were involved in the fire. FIRE CONTAINED....

Tuolumne County, CA....CAL Fire states cause is undetermined, that caused a two structure fire that occurred at 17695 Rolling Hills Blvd. in Tuolumne County on Sunday, September 21st. One structure was a total loss. $375,000 estimated dollar damages. Full CAL Fire report enclosed....
