Engine Fire Cause of Vehicle Fire on Tuesday

Angels Camp, CA...We have received the CAL Fire report on the vehicle fire that occurred yesterday afternoon at 600 Main Street N. at 602 Hwy 49 in Angels Camop. No injuries were reported. Cause of the fire was engine fire. Full fire report enclosed....

CAL Fire May Charge Landowners for Costs of Supressing Escaped Debris Burns

San Andreas – On Monday, March 24, 2008 CAL FIRE and several local fire protection districts responded to three escaped debris burns in Calaveras County totaling 63 acres. Resources totaling 1 helicopter, 2 dozers, 10 engines, 9 hand crews and 3 water tenders were used on scenes of the 3 different incidents. CAL FIRE may charge landowners for the cost of suppressing debris burns that escape control. Though we are not in fire season don’t forget the proper burning techniques.....

Angels Camp, CA...A car has been involved in a vehicle fire at the stoplight on highway 4 and 49 intersection across from Starbucks in Angels Camp. Fire personal are on scene and have extinguished the fire. No injuries have been reported . The vehicle was traveling east bound on highway 4. The driver stopped at a red light and noticed smoke rising from the engine compartment and immediately called 911....

Fire Report for Paloma Road Fire

Paloma, CA....The official fire report is in for the vegetation fire that occurred on Monday March 24th at 4101 Paloma Road. Total acreage involved was 3 acres. There were no injuries reported. Estimated dollar damage is $600. Cause is an escaped debris burn. Full CAL fire report enclosed....

Prussian Hill FIRE UPDATE #3

I just spoke with CAL Fire again....the two fires in Prussian Hill area are not contained but are controlled and have not spread. The cause has been determined as two escaped debris burns.

FIRE UPDATE #2....Prussian Hill

We just spoke with CAL Fire again and the two fires are not yet contained. There are no structures involved and no injuries. The first fire is 10+ acres in size, the 2nd 15-20+ acres. These are two fires are very close together in the Prussian Hill area, which are in the same vicinity. There is no cause as if yet, it is still under investigation. Currently there are 7 Hand Crews from Amador/Tuolumne/Calaveras, 2 State Engines, 1 Central Fire, 2 water tenders, 1 dozer and 1 helicopter on scene This is way too early. We will continue to keep you updated...

Calaveras County, CA.... Two vegetation fires are being reported at this time in Calaveras County. The first fire is being reported on 3820 Prussian Hill Road near Rail Road Flat. Fire personnel have stated that the fire is between 15-20 acres. The second fire is being reported on Ponderosa Road on Highway 26. Check for Updates....

Escaped Debris Burn Reported on Saturday

Arnold, CA....CAL Fire is reporting an escaped debris burn that occurred on Saturday March 22nd at 1194 Cedar Street in Arnold. There were no injuries. It was a 10' x 20' spot fire burning mostly vegetation and part of a wooden fence. No dollar damage reported. Full fire report enclosed....

West Point, CA...CAL Fire has sent us the official fire report for the 5 acre vegetation fire that occurred at 2710 Jurs Road in Valley Springs yesterday afternoon. There were no injuries. Cause of the fire is an escaped debris burn. Total damages are $1000. Fire report enclosed.....
