FIRE NEWS...Vehicle Fire at 11172 Circle Drive in Jamestown

Jamestown, CA.....A Vehicle Fire at 11172 Circle Drive in Jamestown is being reported. Units are in route. UPDATE #1: Sonora City Engine 752 was the first on scene and has stated, "The fire is out at this time." All other units were reduced to code two.

FIRE NEWS......Vegetation Fire in Valley Springs..Fire Contained

Valley Springs, CA.....A 50'-60' spot vegetation fire is being reported at Highway 26 and Vista Del Lago in Valley Springs. Units are responding to the fire now! UPDATE #1 no homes have been threatened, fire is contained.

French Flat Fire Still Being Mopped Up

The Fire that burned 102 acres of heavy brush, 1 storage container and one residence received damage to the exterior paint and a broken window is still being mopped up. There are will 10 engines, 4 hand crews and 1 copter on scene. There were no injuries. Cause is under investigation. The full CAL Fire report is enclosed....

FIRE NEWS....Fire Reported at Parrotts Ferry Road and Hwy 4(UPDATED WITH CAL FIRE REPORT)

Vallecito CA....There is a fire at Hwy 4 and Parrotts Ferry Road.. No acreage estimates as of yet. Crews are not on scene as of yet. Continuing updates to come as if needed. UPDATE #1....3:20pm....Air Tankers are on scene making runs now. Other emergency crews are in bound. Continuing Updates to come. UPDATE #2...3:27pm...Two trailers are on fire, no spread to vegetation at this time. UPDATE #3...3:37pm...Air assets have been called off. No spread to vegetation. UPDATE #4....4:37pm....Hanna just spoke with Battalion Chief 4414, Jeff Millar. Jeff shared "There were two small housing trailers that were completely destroyed." The fire is out at this time and crews are waiting for the investigator to arrive on scene and determine the cause. Hand crews are on scene and are starting to clean up the damage.

Arnold, CA....CAL Fire states a slash pile from logging operation burned into .3 acres of timber on July 19th East of Blue Lake Springs in Arnold. The Cause is undetermined. Damages are estimated at $100. See full CAL Fire report enclosed....

FIRE NEWS.......1/8 Acre Vegetation Fire near Blue Lake Springs

Arnold, CA....A possible vegetation fire is being reported from the Blue Mountain Watch Tower. The fire looks to be in the Blue Lake Springs area near Pebble Beach. Units are responding to the fire now. Check back for more updates. Update #1...CAL Fire is not on scene yet. They believe it is a log deck on fire. Air units are responding to locate fire now. Update #2: the fire is being reported at 1/8 of an acre. Units on the ground are going to be able to attack the fire and put it out quickly.Updates to come when we know more.

Redding, CA...On Thursday, July 17th, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger joined President George W. Bush in Redding to receive a briefing on the state's wildfires from state and local officials and to survey fire damage during an aerial tour of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. During the visit, the Governor and President discussed the effective coordination of resources between California's local, state and federal partners during this wildfire siege, which at its peak included more than 2,000 fires and has scorched more than 887,000 acres to date.

Copperopolis, CA...CAL Fire States a vehicle was the cause of a small 1/4 acre grass fire that occurred on July 17th at 3472 Hwy 4 and Hunt Road in Copperopolis. No injuries or dollar damages reported. Full CAL Fire report enclosed....
