Sacramento, CA...A closed low offshore pressure system off of the Central California Coast will gradually move towards the coast and inland over Northern California through Thursday. This system will bring the threat of thunderstorms continuing through at least Wednesday. The most abundant lightning is expected over the mountain and foothills but potential for thunderstorms extends into the valley. Some of the thunderstorms may bring abundant lightning and gusty winds which could produce fire starts....
