Dear Friends and Associates: I want to take this opportunity to mention that I will be leaving Bear Valley Resorts (BVR) as General Manager of the Bear Valley Lodge and Village Resort Operations effective this May. I also wanted to thank the BVR ownership group, my wonderful and loyal staff, co-workers and the Bear Valley community for their support these past seven years.....

Alpine county has responded favorably, and is now seeking concurrence from the BV Water District, to the recommendations the district sent in the form of a letter in January 2012, regarding capacity issues and future development...

Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible. Tonight: Snow showers. Low around 18. Breezy, with a west wind 22 to 25 mph decreasing to between 7 and 10 mph. Winds could gust as high as 38 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

Murphys, CA...Last year when we stopped by Dr. Andrea Sullivan's Murphys office she was showing off her new Pharmanex BioPhotonic Scanner. This device uses what is know as Raman Spectroscopy to measure antioxidant levels in living tissue. She convinced me to let her scan my nutrient levels. Not to much of a surprise to me my results were pretty dismal. This was one of the "last straws" for me personally to make some changes in my lifestyle. Dr. Sullivan is using the device as an integral part of her practice. She has a great focus on wellness for her patients. We recorded a video last week with her in her office talking about the scanner and other areas of her practice.
