Ambulance Contracts Look Good To Go For another 5 years

San Andreas, CA...The focal point of the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday was the study session on renewing the County's contract with it's existing providers. American Legion Ambulance Service and Ebbetts Pass Fire and Protection District look good to go for another 5 years. The study session was lightly attended which is in some ways a good straw poll that most of the public were comfortable enough that they could comfortably stay away and not have their voices heard. This isn't to say there weren't concerns earlier in the process that were heard at previous public meetings. Snowmobile Fatality This Morning Out Near Spicer Reservoir...UPDATED With CHP report and Press Release

Tamarack, CA...Just before 1am this morning crews responded to a snowmobile accident near Spicer Reservoir. Early reports are that a snowmobile went over a cliff and one person was killed. Bear Valley Fire & Search and Rescue responded first followed by EPFD & CHP. We should have more information shortly after 8am (Update...The initial release is enclosed on this mornings fatal snowmobile accident. It is still pending notifications of family members so the city of residence is omitted as well. The CHP release and Press Release are enclosed.......

And what goes better with a glass of the finest reds and coolest whites? How about the RedSkunk Jipzee Band. Join us on the deck on March 27th for some live music with the REDSKUNK JIPZEE swing band and smooth wines. 5th Annual Slush Cup High Sierra Championship Coming up on March 28th!

Bear Valley, CA....The 5th Annual Slush Cup will be held at BV on Sunday March 28. The Slush Cup is a dual GS race set on Rodeo (Super Cub chair) where racers race head to head against a competitor of their choosing in the morning qualifying, then run head to head with a competitor with comparable qualifying times in the afternoon final. This is a fun event for all ages and abilities with awards in age, gender and alpine/non-alpine(snowboard, tele) categories. Video of Last Year's Fun Event Below....

Bear Valley, CA...Surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Bear Valley Music Festival will present a wide variety of classical music during its sixteen-day season that begins Saturday, July 31.
