Arnold, CA...Since 1995 one of the best places to grab great beer and food is Showshoe Brewery in Arnold. Snowshoe has become an integral part of the Ebbetts Pass business community. It is a "must stop" destination after outdoor activities in the area. Their beers in kegs and bottles is also a staple at local shops, restaurants and grocery stores. On Sunday, June 13th, They through a birthday bash with live music, bounce houses for the kids, beer and more Snowshoe Beer, great food and more.

Bear Valley, CA....Welcome to Bear Valley Safe and Active Family Experiences summer recreation program! Now in it’s 8th year, the BVSAFE program is a summer favorite. We invite your family to join in on the fun! We offer the flexibility for campers to participate in the full 8 week program, visit us for the week, or even drop in just for the day! Campers will have the chance to participate in adventure sports within a safe learning environment whilst exploring the beautiful Bear Valley region. It is our belief that developing a firm knowledge of outdoor activities will provide children with healthy life options, and most importantly have fun! See Weekly Calender Enclosed....

Bear Valley, CA....Opera aficionados will have the unique opportunity to enjoy a fully staged and professionally sung performance of Fran’s Lehar’s “The Merry Widow” presented amid the majestic beauty of the Sierra Mountains during the Bear Valley Music Festival, Saturday, August 14, 7 p.m. The production is being staged in cooperation with the University of the Pacific’s Pacific Opera Institute (POI). “We are fortunate to have such a resource close at hand so that we can give our audience the wonderful combination of our full symphony orchestra, four outstanding professional singers, and the talented young POI participants,” says Carter Nice, who is in his 27th year as the festival’s Music Director....

Bear Valley, CA....Boyz Nite Out, a vocal quintet from San Francisco that combines smooth five part harmony with a range of musical instruments they create vocally, has been added to the Bear Valley Music Festival and will perform Thursday, August 12 at 7 p.m. Specializing in original, cover, pop, golden oldies, and rockin’ upbeat music, this high-energy group creates all-vocal drums, guitars, and horns to go along with their singing style to make the audience feel like there’s an entire band on stage.....

Bear Valley, CA....Hello Bear Valley Powder and Adventure Enthusiasts, Almost hard to believe but another foot of snow is due to arrive by Friday morning in Bear Valley! Therefore we are excited to announce that we are offering another Post Season Snowcat Ski/Board Adventure on Friday, May 28! Participants will literally have their own private ski resort. Bear Valley received 4 inches of wet heavy snow last night and its currently snowing steadily. We are expecting another 6-12 inches of snow and colder temperatures by Friday morning and anticipate good powder conditions for this program. The plan is to utilize the snowcat to access the upper bowls at the ski resort on terrain regularly accessed by the Koala and Kuma chairlifts....
