Arnold, CA...After a few days of beautiful weather Mother Nature will be doing her best to make prolong the start fire season and will be putting a bit more moisture in our vegetation this weekend. Snow levels will start at the 8,000 ft level but may drop down to the 4,000 foot level on Saturday Night. Arnold, CA...Most of the moisture from these systems is today and tonight. The NWS does have the Winter Storm Warning through Easter Sunday but the amount of moisture for Sat & Sun is low enough that the Easter Egg Hunts etc can probably continue.

Arnold, CA...Make sure you hold your honey tight the next few days as the National Weather Service says some locations will see gusts up to 80 mph. The winds may be strong enough to down trees etc so power outages can be expected.

Arnold, CA...This morning's updated warning from NWS Sacramento. Extremely dangerous to impossible travel from blizzard conditions. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 feet above 5000 feet, local amounts of 12 feet or more over peaks, with 1 to 4 feet above 3000 feet through Sunday morning. Minor accumulations down to around 2000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 75 mph or higher. The full warning is below...

State Snowpack 86% of Normal |

Sacramento, CA...The California snowpack is currently 86% of normal for this date statewide, 99% of normal for the northern Sierra, 82% for the central and 80% for the south. Data courtesy CDEC/DWR #CAwx
