San Andreas, CA...Early this morning at 3:25am Reanna Renee Silveira a 30 year old San Andreas woman was driving her 2001 Honda Accord on northbound on Hwy 49 South of Gold Strike Road. She was driving at an unknown rate of speed and for an unknown reason she lost control of her vehicle and left the roadway and collided with a dirt embankment. The impact caused her vehicle to overturn and collide with the roadway. She sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident....

San Andreas, CA...The 2015 Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will be back in action next Tuesday. Some of the agenda items are:Approve amendments to Conflict of Interest Codes for Vallecito Union School District. Adopt a Resolution approving the Second Amended and Restated Central Sierra Economic Development District Joint Powers Agreement and authorizing the Board Chair to sign on behalf of the County. Receive the 2014 Annual Report of the Calaveras County Fish & Game Commission. Adopt a Resolution supporting CALNET Broadband projects in Calaveras County. These items and many more will be discussed next Tuesday along with the every exciting public comments section of the meeting. The full agenda is enclosed....

West Point, CA...On 02/17/2015 at approximately 7:51pm San Andreas CHP units were dispatched to a report of a solo vehicle collision into a fence. Upon arrival, at 1997 Saturn being driven by a 23 year old West Point man was found facing a westerly direction into a fence, on Hwy 26 just west of Stanley Road. The driver and solo occupant was transported to Amador Sutter Hospital for major injuries...
