Sender’s Market Ace Hardware March Red Hot Buys! Shop Local & Save! |

Mountain Ranch & Valley Springs, CA...In 1950, we started out as a family operation with Erich’s father and mother, August and Freida Sender, in a century-old adobe building. The upstairs was home to the Sender family, and the first floor included groceries, a meat market, a bar, and a small eating place called Opa’s Smokehouse. On Christmas morning in 1968, the old store was destroyed by fire. But in June 1969, Sender’s Market, Inc. was opened. Since that time, there have been many changes, including remodeling, expansion, and the addition of many employees. That’s also when we added the truss plant and purchased Sender’s Market Ace Hardware in Valley Springs. Today, we’re still family owned and still working hard to stock everything from pantry essentials to power tools. Whether you’ve got questions about the perfect cut of meat or the right kind of paint, our helpful, knowledgeable staff has you covered. Click on images below for larger versions.

Arnold, CA... Arnold Peddler’s Faire 2023 Saturday, May 27th! The Annual Arnold Peddler’s Faire will be held over Memorial Day weekend on Saturday and Sunday, May 27 and 28, in the mountain resort town of Arnold, on Highway 4. Arnold’s ‘Beginning-of-Summer’ festival is situated among the pines and redwoods, and features over 50 booths of high-quality, hand-crafted artisans, specialty food and antiques that will make this event memorable for years to come. Enjoy the fresh mountain air as you stroll to find some treasures for yourself, your home, your cabin, or the next camping trip.

Arnold, CA... Arnold Peddler’s Faire 2023 Saturday, May 27th! San Andreas, CA... Frank is Your Pet of The Week! Meet FRANK (A055097), a short-haired brown tabby gentleman who is 13 years young. Frank really needs a home where he can be spoiled and pampered in his senior years. He is a total sweetheart and has a terrific personality and spirit––a favorite kitty among volunteers and staff. Frank is friendly, active, quite vocal–especially when he wants some attention–and thoroughly enjoys being petted and brushed. He also loves to explore and has no problem jumping to the top level of his perch.
