Arnold, CA....We had the great pleasure of attending a Holiday Wreath and Centerpiece making class at Arnold Ace Home Center today. From rustic to elegant, DeAnn and Susan taught the audience how to decorate like pros! We have video of the class just in case you couldn't make it or you would like to brush up on your skills. The video with De Ann & Susan has great tips for all of your Holiday Masterpieces. Also coming up this Weekend, December 13th & 14th are a few more holiday classes. The first one takes place on Saturday is a FREE Kids Ornament Making Class at 10:30. To Follow at 2pm is the Cookie Recipe Contest. Angels Camp, CA...The Calaveras County Builders Association held their Annual Meeting and a Candidates Forum at Greenhorn Creek on Wednesday night. Hammered is probably too strong of a term (But it made for a better headline). All of the Candidates in the Supervisorial Races attended, answered questions and vied for the construction and building community's votes in November. The Builders Association Roger Stevenson handled the MC duties for the evening. Zerrall McDaniel, Supervisor Tom Tryon, Gary Tofanelli & Councilman Seaton started things off with opening statements. Murphys, CA....Several Hundred showed up on Saturday to show their support for Habitat For Humanity Calaveras. We stopped by as the event was winding down just before 8pm and their still was a good sized crowd on hand. One attendee we spoke with put the peak crowd numbers between 400 & 500 so they were Hoeing Down indeed.
