Angels Camp, CA....Hey all you Twilight fans....Don't forget the midnight showing of "Eclipse" tonight! Eclipse in Theaters Tonight at Midnight! With The Twilight Saga: Eclipse premiering tonight across the US and parts of the globe at midnight, there’s going to be a lot to talk about! This is the place to do it. If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, you’re probably out of luck, but give it a try anyway to see if you can reserve a space for tonight!Eclipse is the third novel in the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. It continues the story of 18-year-old Bella Swan and her vampire love, Edward Cullen. Eclipse is preceded by New Moon and followed by Breaking Dawn. The book was released on August 7, 2007 with an initial print run of one million copies, and sold more than 150,000 copies in the first 24 hours alone....
The Angels Camp City Council meeting of June 15th has been rescheduled to June 22nd at the firehouse.

Angels Camp, CA....The City of Angels Camp City Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday June 1, 2010 . The meting will begin at 4:30pm with a Closed Session with Labor Negotiators. They will then call to order at 5:15 and start interviews for Museum Commission and take action on Closed Session Items. Full agenda is enclosed....

Angels Camp, CA...The City of Angels Camp will hold their Regular City Council Meeting this Tuesday May 18, 2010. They also have a Budget Workshop scheduled for Wednesday May 19th at 9am. The meeting will begin at 4:30pm with a Closed Session where Council members will perform Performance Evaluations for City of Angels Assistant Fire Chief, City of Angels Engineer and Interim Water/Wastewater Plant Manager; They will also hold a conference with labor negotiators. They will then reconvene to their Regular meeting at 6pm. Action will be taken in Closed Sessions; Public Employment of Chief of Police will take place; The Bret Harte Aquatic Facility Sewer and Water Connection Fees is back on the agenda; Consideration of combining Code Enforcement Official with Building Inspector position; Consideration of establishing the position of Senior Supervisor for Water and Wastewater Department. Full agenda is enclosed...
Student Constructed Storage Buildings to Be Auctioned at Calaveras County Fair!

Frogtown, CA....This year, students enrolled in the Bret Harte woodshop program had the opportunity to learn basic construction skills by building three 8’X8’ storage buildings that are now available to the general public through auction at the fair. Working in teams under the direction of District Superintendent Mike Chimente and Division of the State Architect Inspector Mike Martin, students constructed the buildings while learning basic framing and building standards....

Angels Camp, CA....The City of Angels Camp City Council will meet on Tuesday May 4th, 2010. The meeting will call to order at 4:30pm and immediately adjourn to Closed Sessions to perform Performance Evaluations; Public Employment for City Administrator and Chief of Police. They will then reconvene to their Regular Meeting at 6pm.
