WOW! And how do you feel about the lack of integrity in the present administaion. WOW! Integrity in the whitehouse of today? Bengazi, IRS, ACA, Fast & Furious... More proof of all the above scandals yet this administration in all it's arogance can't give answers for any and admits not telling the truth about ACA. Christie fired someone immediately, no one has even been questioned by Obama's administration, it's business as usual. This country is being sold down the river by the present administration.

christie, abused his power or at the very least had zero control over his staff. He's going down because citizens don't want a governor like that.

Obama? The majority loves him, and they love ACA too.

one thing that can't be proven: Chris Christie was involved in the lane closures and/or the cover-up,

one thing that is proven: he fostered the environment that made this outrageous and criminal stunt possible, and it is enough to call for Christie to resign.

These amateurs had to have known that shutting the lanes down would not only cause a massive traffic jam, but put people's safety at risk. We already know about one incident that nearly turned into a catastrophe--a search for a missing four-year-old took longer than it should have because it was hard to spare officers from directing traffic. And yet, they were willing to do it in the name of screwing people who had the gall to vote for Barbara Buono. There is no way in the world they would have even dreamed of pulling this stunt if there wasn't an environment that made this behavior acceptable.

Let's assume that Christie is telling the truth, and that he really didn't know anyone from his staff was in on this until he read about it on his iPad. If that's true, then he tacitly admitted that he was disengaged in a way that a governor simply cannot be. And Christie has even less excuse than most of his gubernatorial counterparts. New Jersey's governor is probably the most powerful governor in the continental United States. He and the lieutenant governor are the only statewide elected officials. Nearly all of the major state officers are appointed by him, subject to confirmation by the Senate. The state constitution concentrates the bulk of day-to-day administration in his hands. That's why so many people aren't buying Christie's version of events--given his authority over state government, how could he not have known? They're missing the corollary to that talking point--even if he didn't know, he should have made it his business to know.

As Americans, our first loyalty is to the integrity of the political process. Part of maintaining that integrity is fostering an environment that gives people confidence in their government. Regardless of how further this scandal develops, we know beyond all doubt that the environment in Christie's administration is so depraved that his staffers were willing to keep ambulances from getting through. Any governor who would tolerate such an environment, regardless of party, is morally unfit for office. Period, full stop. And for that reason, if Chris Christie has anything left in him, he will resign.

Nope, the media loves scandals, left or right, because it sells and raises ratings. Dems don't get pass. The really purely partisan media is Fox and Limbaugh and acouple of others. Most responsible media go where the story is. Try double checking stuff at Snope, Politifact, and Fact Check. They are pretty straight forward and honest.

There may be no direct paper trail to Christy, and that is why he spent so much time quoting SGT. Schultz over and over that "I know nothing, nothing....."

This really isn't about Christie. It's about the MSM keeping the public's eye off Obama's shenanigans. Just yesterday, SCOTUS heard arguments as the constitutionality of Obama's "recess" appointments. Today it's reported that Obama was advised the Benghazi attack was in fact a terrorist attack and the President went ahead and lied about in the middle of heated election after Biden went around parroting. "GM is live and Bin Laden is dead."

The question should be: 'What did the President know and when did he know it?' regarding the IRS's violation of political groups rights to oppose his re-election. The IRS, being used as a tool to intimidate political groups right to influence an election, is truly an attempt to disenfranchise voters, which the liberals howl about continuously and is ten thousand times worse than any petty attempt by any government official to cause a traffic jam. Deal with reality, liberals, your man in the White House is as corrupt as any third world dictator.

Well didn't like 95% of blacks vote for him because he was "black" (and just as much white though we never hear about that). Doesn't that make them racist? Or are only those who don't approve of Obama's policies racists? Isn't voting for someone because of their race a pretty inane reason?

While Chris Christie’s numbers have stayed held firm amidst recent controversies, the New Jersey governor has lost ground in a potential 2016 match-up against prospective Democratic contender Hillary Clinton.

The latest NBC News/Marist poll shows Christie trailing Clinton by 13 points in a presidential contest. That’s a ten-point drop: Last month, Christie trailed the former secretary of state by just 3 percentage points in the same poll.

how would you feel if Merita Callaway spent fire relief funds on an expensive ad to help her get re-elected as supervisor next this year?

That's what Chris Christie did with the super storm relief funds. No, the voters are not going to be happy about that. Follow the story.

David Wildstein, the former Port Authority official and Chris Christie appointee who was ordered by Christie's former deputy chief of staff to create "traffic problems in Fort Lee," says he'll talk — but only in exchange for immunity from prosecution. Wildstein has already played a central role in exposing the scandal:

David Wildstein, whom Christie appointed to a position in the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, has already supplied a legislative committee with the most damning documents in the case so far, including an email from a Christie aide saying it was "time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee," a sign that the lane-closing plot was hatched by Christie's aides as a political vendetta.

Wildstein's lawyer Alan Zegas told The Associated Press on Friday that there has not been any offer of immunity from the U.S. Attorney's Office, which is reviewing the matter. "If he has immunity from the relevant entities, he'll talk," Zegas said.

In related news, subpoenas were issued to 20 individuals and groups by New Jersey legislators investigating the scandal and the Christie administration hired a high-priced legal team to guide its investigation response. Despite announcing the hiring, the Christie administration was quite opaque about exactly what the hiring will mean — and who will pay for it.

The New Jersey Star Ledger reports:

TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie's popularity among New Jersey voters has plummeted in the wake of the George Washington Bridge scandal — especially among Democrats and those who travel across the bridge every day, according to a new poll.

The Rutgers-Eagleton poll, released today, shows that 46 percent of voters view the Republican governor favorably, while 43 percent have an unfavorable view two weeks after e-mails that appeared to link a Christie staff member to the bridge controversy.

That's a 19-point drop from the group's last poll in November, when 65 percent of voters saw Christie favorably just before he was re-elected in a landslide.

The poll also shows Democrats are abandoning their support of Christie, who repeatedly touted a message of bipartisanship on the campaign trail last year and bolstered his campaign with the support of dozens of Democrats. While November's poll showed that 45 percent of Democratic voters viewed him favorably, that number has fallen to 19 percent in today's survey — a 26-point drop.

Time for some Impeachment in Jersey. It's been a tough January for the Christie Crime Family. With this afternoon's revelations, New Jersey's largest paper, the Newark Star Ledger (the same paper that endorsed his re-election 3 months ago) is now calling for Christie's Impeachment.

If this proves to be true, then the governor must resign or be impeached. Because it will show that everything he said at his famous two-hour press conference was a lie.

And not just a typical political lie -- this was like a Broadway show of lies, and would leave Christie so drained of credibility that he could not possibly govern effectively. He would owe it to the people of New Jersey to step aside. And if he should refuse, then the Legislature should open impeachment hearings.

      Chris Christie Should Resign

Looks like Mayor Guliani "9/11" knew this was coming when he threw the bully under the bus, yesterday.

This turned out to be just like Watergate. The mastermind denying involvement to the bitter end, with David Wildstein reprising the roles of John Dean and James McCord.

The bigger the bully, the harder they fall.

Is it wrong that I'm smiling?
