Santa Clara, CA...The San Francisco 49ers today announced the team has signed 2023 Associated Press NFL Offensive Player of the Year RB Christian McCaffrey to a two-year extension through the 2027 season. "Two years ago, we were ecstatic to welcome Christian McCaffrey to the 49ers," said President of Football Operations and General Manager John Lynch. "Since his arrival, he's been everything we thought he would be and more. His versatile skillset has been a seamless fit within our offense. His professionalism and work ethic are as exemplary as I've seen since I've been associated with the NFL. We look forward to working with Christian for many years to come."

Arnold, CA...Yesterday marked the return of one of the summer traditions in the Arnold area. The Greater Arnold Pancake Breakfasts are back! The longstanding tradition of the Lions Club has been brought back by the Greater Arnold Business Association to help fund the Arnold Independence Day Parade and other events and business activities along the Ebbetts Pass Corridor. Current Supervisor Martin Huberty & Former Longstanding Supervisor Merita Callaway even worked the serving line to help get the tradition rolling again. Big Boy's BBQ & Catering prepared the food & many others volunteered their time to help out. Even shy and demure Paul Bertini helped with promotional efforts to keep the crowds rolling in.
